I used the photos from the body letter post and some alphabet flashcards to make a cute alphabet book. The kids love looking at themselves and practicing the letter sounds with their friends. I labeled all of the pictures with their names so they can work on recognition. I also added a caption for the flashcards. Kids can start to take in the concept of letters and words before they can read. Being inundated with easy written words helps them prepare and start to read. Also, if an adult who doesn’t recognize all of the pictures is looking at the book with the children, it will help them to teach the child too. It is a good visual tool for our kinesthetic learners to help remember the movements we did with out bodies and hopefully remember the letters.
